Week 10 & 11: Vaotu’u Boxers

Malo etau lava famili! Sorry I didn't send an email this past week, there wasn't much we were able to do because we had gotten sick so I didn't wanna write a short 3 sentence email saying how I was just sick the whole time. But this week was really good for me. The week started off slow but towards the end of the week it started to get good. We already baptized all of our laumalies that we had, and none of the members had come to us about any other laumalies. That being said, they had a couple of laumalies but they were youth and their parents did not approve of them learning the lessons. So for now, we needed to go looking for people or strengthen the members who were less active. On Thursday it was later in the day around 4. We had been walking around since 10 that morning but not much had been done. Most people were at school or at work. We had a fafanga that told us they will drop our meal  off at our house  at 6pm so  if we wanted to, we could have just went home ear...

Week 9: Swagguh

Malo etau lava famili!  Hope everyone's chillin doing their daily thangs and vibin’ wit the cold weather 😎 . This past week was cool—we had alot of stuff to do and got alot of stuff done. At the start of the week we were able to teach a laumalie named Sione who's 16. But while teaching lessons, whenever we asked him questions he would answer perfectly so it made the work a little bit easier with him. We had our interview done by my big headed brother Elder Foni. Elder Foni had been coming around alot because we had been needing him to either take us somewhere or needed an interview, so we saw him alot this week. He came and did the interview and after, since he wasn't busy, he even brought us food from the Hawaiian place (sorry I would of had a picture but every time we got the food I ate it so fast I forgot 🤦‍♂️ but I had Loco moco  🤑 ). Foni was ...

2 Months

Well it's officially been 2 months out here, it would be 4 months as a missionary but I only count the months I've been out here in the field. I've learned alot, been thru alot, and I'm sure I've grown alot too. As far as physically, I'm not sure if I gained weight or lost weight 🤷‍♂️ I honestly still look the same but I don't fit my 2XL shirts anymore😂. They were too big and I hated how baggy they looked when I wore them so I ended up giving them to my AP and childhood friend Elder Foni. My XL shirts are still kinda baggy too but not AS baggy and I'm not sure I wanna switch to a L shirt cuz I don't want them to be too tight on me.  Also another physical aspect that’s changed is my skin which is now the same color as the dirt.  I look at pictures of myself from the mtc and sheesh I was hekka white.  Now I'm dark.   Mentally, I have had my moments of missing home.  I have also had my moments where sometimes I just felt alone.  But I have truly...
